About Us

The Lochcarron Hotel is a family-run establishment that offers 10 comfortable bedrooms, all equipped with private facilities. One of these rooms is conveniently located on the ground floor and is accessible to all. Our hotel is open throughout the year, and we welcome dogs in our homely lounge bar, where guests can enjoy the warmth of an open fire and a comfortable restaurant with stunning views across Loch Carron. Our speciality is seafood, and we take pride in using locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. Guests can also choose from our selection of three traditional real ales served on handpump, as well as a wide variety of around 60 single malt whiskies.

Our hotel is located in a prime loch-side position, providing guests with magnificent mountainous backdrops on the North Coast 500 route. Situated in the village of Lochcarron, in the heart of Wester Ross on the West Coast of mainland Scotland, our hotel offers some of the most stunning scenery in the British Isles. It is an excellent base from which to explore the area, with nearby places such as Plockton, Applecross, Shieldaig, Torridon, Gairloch, and even the Isle of Skye being within easy motoring distance.

The area surrounding our hotel boasts an abundance of wildlife and is a paradise for all those who love outdoor pursuits such as walking, climbing, sailing (our jetty is immediately across the road from the hotel), fishing, birdwatching, photography, and more.
